By subscribing to FlipDeals VIP, joining the FlipDeals Discord server, exchanging SMS messages with our AI Concierge service, or otherwise using any FlipDeals service ("Service"), you agree to these Terms.
1. What FlipDeals is
FlipDeals is a private alert service. Our automated scanners monitor publicly-listed inventory on BidRL, OfferUp, Craigslist California, Best Buy Open Box, ShopGoodwill, Sacramento County Surplus, and other marketplaces, and post real-time signals to a Discord server. Alerts include the listing's title, asking price or current bid, our estimated max-profit price, and a link back to the original listing.
2. Alerts are signals, not recommendations
Our profit estimates are based on recent market signals at the time of the alert and may be wrong. We do not guarantee:
that any alerted listing is actually profitable when you act on it
that the seller will honor the listed price or condition
that the item is authentic, functional, or legal to resell
that you will be the winning bidder or buyer
You are solely responsible for inspecting items, verifying prices, and complying with local laws on resale. Don't bet money you can't afford to lose on any alert.
3. Subscription and billing
FlipDeals VIP currently costs $25 USD per month (founder price, 50% off the standard $50/mo; standard pricing may apply to future subscribers) and is billed by our payment processor, Whop. Payments are non-refundable except as described in the Refund Policy. You may cancel at any time through Whop; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the alerts personally for sourcing inventory. You may not:
resell, redistribute, or republish FlipDeals alerts to non-subscribers
scrape, mirror, or relay our Discord channels
use the Service to harass marketplace sellers, spam reviews, or violate any third-party platform's terms
Violations may result in immediate termination without refund.
5. Third-party platforms
FlipDeals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by BidRL, OfferUp, Craigslist, Best Buy, ShopGoodwill, Sacramento County, eBay, Discord, Whop, or any other third party named in our marketing. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5a. SMS Concierge Service (AI Concierge)
FlipDeals also operates an SMS-based AI customer-service concierge for participating local businesses (the "AI Concierge"). When you text one of the business numbers we operate, the following applies in addition to any other applicable section of these Terms:
Program name: FlipDeals AI Concierge.
What it does: answers questions about the business (hours, location, services, menu, pricing, directions), can send relevant photos via MMS, and routes inquiries that need a human (catering quotes, appointment requests, party-room bookings, complaints, custom estimates) to the business owner by email so they can follow up with you directly.
Initiation: we send messages only after you first text the business; we do not initiate outbound messages to numbers that have not first contacted us.
Frequency: message volume varies based on your conversation. There is no scheduled marketing or promotional messaging.
Costs: standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. FlipDeals does not charge end users for SMS conversation with the AI Concierge.
Opt-out: reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT at any time to immediately stop all messages from that number.
Help: reply HELP or INFO for assistance. For human help, contact the business directly using the phone number listed on its website or storefront.
Re-subscribe: reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to opt back in.
AI limitations: the AI may give incorrect or out-of-date information. Prices, hours, and availability shown in AI replies are estimates only — confirm with the business before relying on them. The AI is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice and does not provide such advice. For repair, service, or purchase decisions, always rely on confirmation from a qualified person at the business.
Privacy: data collected via the AI Concierge is handled per our Privacy Policy, which includes a dedicated SMS Concierge section.
Carrier liability: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, alert frequency, or accuracy. Scrapers occasionally break when source sites change their structure; expect outages.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlipDeals's total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 30 days. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
